Whats Good With Fishsticks

golden rule of conduct between the heart and the sense

concepts of duality of man dates back to very ancient times. Probably the best was holding the theory of dualism body and spirit. A man with one hand is being subjected to physical and drives and instincts. On the other is a spiritual being, to be. Both these interests are fighting, and destruction of the battle field refer to as consciousness. Freud's theory also deserves mention. On one hand, animal needs, on the other's cultural heritage. Id vs. Superego. What is the result of this fight? The ego, or consciousness.

But there is still a dualistic approach, which most probably affects at the present time. Heart versus reason. On the one hand, the man acts impulsively, is subjected to time doing what he wants to do at the moment. The other has a broader perspective, which leads him to take into account the profitability of the operation. Sometimes winning momentum, moments of deliberation. Contrary to popular opinion, I do not believe that either one is (to paraphrase the title of a Jane Austen novel), prudent, or romantic. Depending on the specific circumstances of every man behaves prudently, and once elsewhere impulsively.

I will not, here dwell on it, which procedure is better, because I believe that both are inadequate. Somewhere in fact, between What fun and what cost we lose one more criterion - the good. Listening to the pulse, you can do well or badly. Similarly, if you listen to reason. And sometimes, or listening to one or the other, do not choose a good path.

When the impulse leads us to the remaining surplus funds to us, buy yourself something that makes us joy, and makes sense, save for harder times, absorbed in a solution to this dilemma, we forget that there is another alternative. Somewhere, very close to us, may be someone to whom the money may be needed at this point. Do we care for the indefinite future, or to fulfill their own desires, if there is a chance to do something good?

When two popular options that are fighting for our attention, it's worth a look if your impudence by chance we do not cover third party, the best way.
